M+B Blogger Hair Routines: Naomi Faith
If you’ve been following our blog for the longest time then you’ll know that we used to write a series called Hair Talk. As part of this series we interviewed some of our fave bloggers about their best hacks and go-to products so that we could get selfie worthy hair just like them.
This year we’ve decided to totally revive it and reach out to some of our M+B babes to get the low down on their hair routines. From what they do in the morning to their best hacks for split ends, these girls know everything worth knowing about getting perfect hair.
Today we’re chatting to insta babe and haircare guru Naomi Faith. She’s a totally profesh hairdresser so she knows how to make your locks look amazing and she’s always posting her supermodel waves on instagram. We love how she styles her M+B hair extensions too so we thought she’d be the best person to grill about her hair routine...
What’s your hair type?
My natural hair is wavy/curly and really frizzy, so it has to be tamed!
What’s your M+B shade?
Good Vibes. It’s the darkest brown and it’s a perfect match for me.
How long does your hair routine usually take?
To wash, blow-dry and style my hair with my M+B hair extensions takes about an hour and a half. Day to day I’ll only spend about 20 minutes on my hair though and that includes clipping in my extensions.
What's your normal morning hair routine?
Again it depends on whether I’m washing my hair or not but if I am then I’ll wash, blow-dry and straighten my hair. Next I’ll clip in my M+B hair extensions section by section and I'm ready to go. I always pre-style my extensions straight with a flick at the ends so I don’t have to restyle them once they’re clipped in which saves loads of time.
How do your M+B extensions fit into your routine?
Clipping in my hair extensions has been a part of my routine since i was about 17! I love my extensions and have always sworn by them. I start my morning routine with a shower and some breakfast and then I’ll do my makeup and hair so that I’m ready for the day.
What products do you normally use?
I use a shampoo and conditioner from Kerastase which is the best haircare range out there. They have loads of different products for different hair types so there’s something for every hair concern. I also use the Label M Protein Spray from the Toni & Guy professional range and Moroccan Oil which helps to keep my hair hydrated.
Any hairstyling hacks or tips?
I would say to always use a round brush to blow dry your fringe or the front of your hair as it helps to give it more volume instead of sitting flat to your face. It’s also really important that you’re using the right shampoo and conditioner for your hair type. It’s not worth buying cheap, over the counter products as you need your hair to absorb the right ingredients if you want it to stay healthy. I would always recommend getting professional advice from your stylist too. You’ll notice a difference, trust me! ;)
These are insane tips and we love how Naomi styles her extensions before clipping them in to speed up her routine. Such a useful hack! If you missed our last blogger routine then click here to catch up. We chatted to insta babe Celine Fitsch about how she gets her signature, glossy curls.
