M+B Auburn Clip-In Hair Extensions

Here at M+B we’re totally obsessed with auburn hair and have three gorgeous shades that are perfect for all you redheaded babes. We get that finding auburn clip-in hair extensions can be tricky which is why we’ve created three multi-tonal colours to help you get a perfect match. Today we thought we’d share with you guys everything you need to know about each one so that you can find the right set for you, along with a little hairstyle inspiration.

St Tropez is our lightest auburn shade and is a warm strawberry blonde with a mix of sand, ginger and red tones.

Celebrities who wear this shade: Lindsay Lohan, Evan Rachel Wood, Isla Fisher.

Who would this work for: This shade is perfect if you have very fair skin with pink undertones as it will help to brighten and even out your complexion. As a rule, very fair skin looks best with a golden or strawberry blonde over a dark red.

I Think We’re Alone Now is our dreamy copper shade with chestnut, copper and burnished brown undertones.

Celebrities who wear this shade: Madelaine Petsch, Brittany Snow and Madeline Brewer.

Who would this work for: This shade is universally flattering but would work best on someone with a neutral undertone in their skin. There’s always the risk that olive skin can look a bit green next to red but as long as you avoid anything too orange and stick to warm cinnamon shades like this one, you won’t have to worry.

I Said Red is our vibrant, cherry red shade with darker, ruby red undertones that gives us major Jessica Rabbit vibes.

Celebrities who are this shade: Katy Perry, Lily Collins and Florence Welch.

Who would this work for: This shade would be perfect for anyone with a neutral or warm undertone, especially olive or dark skin. You might want to avoid this shade if you have very pale skin and a red undertone as it can be too contrasting and will draw out the pink tones in your skin.

In need of some inspiration?

We used the shade I Think We’re Alone Now to create three gorgeous hat hairstyles over on our YouTube channel. The colour is super versatile and looked amazing in the braided updo but also super shiny for the Hollywood-style curls. We think these looks are so pretty and great inspiration for you auburn-haired babes. Just click the play button for a step-by-step tutorial of each of the different looks.
