Recreate Our DIY Pearl Hairclips

This week in the M+B studio we created some gorgeous pearl hairclips using nothing but a glue gun and lots of creativity! The hair clip trend is growing and growing and the more clips you can cram into your hairstyle, the better. You only have to look at Justine Marjan's Instagram feed to see how much a few clips can elevate your look and it's an easy way to make it look like you're a hairstyle guru. The key to nailing the trend is layering up lots of clips in different sizes or keeping it really simple and using one or two around your hairline. The finished looks...

1. Snap Pearl Clip

This is such a standout accessory and perfect on its own or layered up with smaller clips. We've popped it on one side and paired it with some soft, loose waves but it looks just as good above a high ponytail.

2. Pearl Cluster Clip

This is such a pretty clip and perfect for wedding or prom hairstyles. We've used this to pull back a section of hair on either side but it would look just as pretty with a dressy updo.

3. Large Pearl Clip

Taking inspiration from the D&G show we're using these large pearl clips on either side of our parting. This is such an on-trend look and perfect for keeping your hairline perfectly sleek.

4. Diamante Hair Clip

We'd use these diamante hair clips for a party or date night look when you need something a little more glamorous. We've popped these along the hairline again but you could layer them up with some pearl clips to create a really stand out hairstyle.

5. Small Pearl Clip

If you love this trend but want something more subtle then this mini pearl clip would be perfect. You can also push these under your hair so that they're slightly hidden for a more relaxed vibe.
