You could go as sleek or as textured as you like with your high ponytail to suit the vibe of your dress and it’s one of the easiest hairstyles to create. We’ve got a tutorial here that you can follow and we’d recommend using a bungee elastic as it’s the most secure.
Mermaid Waves
We can’t stop swooning over this hairstyle on Miley Cyrus and we love how it’s a totally different take on a red carpet look. If your dress is more structured rather than princessy then you could definitely go for this and it looks amazing if your hair is highlighted or ombre.
90s Inspired Up-Do
This is such a pretty look and the delicate face framing pieces are so 90s and majorly on trend right now. If you’re planning on wearing a busy dress or something with a high neck then this would be perfect for you. We’d take a leaf out of Kendall’s book and pick up some killer earrings too.
Embellished Braid
Who said prom hair has to be boring? If you really want to stand out then Jasmine Sanders’ super detailed braid would be perfect for you. You’ll need to pick up a lot of string, flowers and bobby pins to put this look together though. We’d also recommend using our 24-26” hair extensions to make it super long.
Messy Up-Do
If super sleek, polished hair isn’t your vibe then Cardi B’s textured would be a great option for prom. Just make sure you curl your hair first to add loads of texture and keep everything super loose so that it’s not too polished.
Loose Waves
If you’re not one for dressing up and want to keep your prom look super casual then we’d recommend going for loose waves.
