This week we’re all pretty excited at the fact Lily Allen rocked our extensions on the cover of Stylist magazine. Not only that, but she’s just released her new single Lost My Mind and she’s wearing them in that too. Wahhh!!
One of our fave stylists Jake Gallagher used the Milk + Blush Quad Weft Set in Oh My Gwen Stefani 16-18” as a base to create these two great looks. For the Stylist magazine shoot, Jake custom dyed and cut a few wefts from the set to add extra thickness to Lily’s chin length bob which is a great tip to anyone with shorter hair who wants to achieve some added volume. The hair was straightened and curled under at the ends which you can easily achieve using a flat iron and some shine spray. Curling in the ends is good for all hair lengths too as it helps to make your hair look thicker and mimics a blow dry in a lot less time.
In the video for Lost My Mind Jake kept the wefts slightly longer and Lily’s hair was styled into loose, textured waves. You can create these using your straighteners too by tilting them towards you and then away from you as you work down your hair in sections. Once you’re done use a brush to loosen up the waves and backcomb your roots for extra volume.
Pink hair is still a major trend and something that’s sticking around for the next few seasons. Custom colouring your extensions can be a little tricky though so if you want Lily’s shade we recommend asking your stylist first.
