SS19 Hair Trends That Will Get You Totally Excited For The New Year

Nothing gets us more excited for the new year than some killer hair trends and spring/summer 2019 is no exception. From textured braids, to baby bangs and some hair accessories we’ve already added to our Christmas list there are so many cool looks to try out. We get that you might think it’s a little early but if you want to be one step ahead of your bestie, then these are the hair trends you need to get down...

Intricate Braids

Braids are always a big trend for the summer, but next year they’re getting a lot more intricate and complicated than they have been for the last few seasons. Think two different types of braids in one look, embellishment and lots of texture.

Braid Pressing

Leading on from the braid trend is braid pressing and we’re so glad because it’s literally the easiest way to style your hair. You just braid your hair and let it set, or clamp down on your braid with your hair straighteners for a quicker way to create these loose waves.

Hair accessories

Hair accessories are a growing trend from the last few seasons that will definitely be sticking around next summer. We’ve recently filmed a video with four looks using hair accessories if you need some inspo' that are perfect for New Year’s Eve.

Sport Luxe Hair Bands

We're loving these sporty headbands for this year. For lazy days, gym days and everything in between days, rock one of these hairbands for an effortless "clean girl" look.

Baby Bangs

This is one of those trends that always looks amazing, but takes a lot of guts to go for, as there’s no way you can pin these back! Baby bangs can be really flattering and this season they’re a lot more choppy and textured rather than a blunt, Vampira vibe.

Red Hair

The biggest colour trend for next year is red hair, so if you’re thinking of switching up your shade for a more auburn hue, then now is the best time to do it.

Bows

Another hair accessory that’s set to be big next year are bows. But this time, they’re very uniform and quite polished rather than the loose, messy ties from last season.
