How To: Start by clipping in your hair extensions but make sure not to clip them any higher than ear level as you’ll need to sweep the top of your hair back. Once they’re all clipped in use a hair brush to smooth your hair into a low pony and secure it with a bungee elastic. Next take a small barrel curling wand and curl your pony in small sections making sure to let the curls cool in your hand before you let them drop. Once your pony is curled set it with some hairspray and leave it to cool while you add the bobby pins. To create a super textured effect you want to criss cross the pins in rows from the front of your head down to the pony. Once all your bobby pins are pushed in you can then take a loop brush and soften up your curls. To finish the look wrap a small piece of hair around the elastic and dust everything with hairspray for lots of hold.

How To: Start by clipping in your M+B hair extensions as normal and then curl your hair in sections using a small barrel curling wand. You want to to curl each section from root to tip to get the most amount of volume. Once all your hair is curled you can then dust it with hairspray and leave it to cool. Now it’s time for the bobby pins! You want to start by smoothing down your hair with some serum to give yourself the best base to work with. Nest push in the bobby pins along your hairline from your parting all the way down behind your ear. Once you’re done you can then criss cross some more pins over the top for a more textured look. Then, gently brush out your curls using a loop brush and add some texturising spray for loads of extra volume. Done!

Side Swept Fishtail Braid

This gorgeous braid is a really quick way to style your hair, especially if you don’t want to use heat, but accessorised with some bobby pins it looks really expensive.

How To: Start by clipping in your M+B hair extensions and then sweep all of your hair over to your best side. You then want to split the hair into two sections so that you can start the fishtail braid. If you’re not sure how, you literally just take a small section from the outer edge and pass it into the middle, alternating on each side. Once your braid is done pull on your hair to really thicken it up and to add lots of texture. For a totally polished look use a hair elastic to hold the end of the braid and then wrap a small piece of hair around it to hide it. You can secure this with a bobby pin pointing up inside the braid so it’s hidden! Once your braid is done you can then start embellishing it with your gold bobby pins. You want them to follow the lines of the braid and push them in with the flat side facing out so that they’re more visible. Keep going until you reach the end of your braid and add as many bobby pins as you like for a totally party ready look!
