DIY Coffee Hair Mask Recipe

It takes a lot of coffee to fuel the Milk + Blush team (like A LOT) and because we love it so much we really wanted to do something special for International Coffee Day this year. As hair is obviously a major obsession for us we thought it would be cool to combine the two and create a DIY coffee hair mask that you can incorporate into your routine.

It may sound super random to put coffee on your hair but there are a surprising amount of benefits to using those beans. The biggest one is that coffee will help to make your hair grow as the high caffeine content works to improve blood circulation to prolong the growth phase. It also exfoliates your scalp to remove any product buildup or dandruff that’s clogging up your follicles which can slow down growth and make your roots look really greasy. Lastly, as coffee has a lower pH than water it won’t raise your cuticles, so you can expect really shiny, soft hair too. Impressive right?

So if you want to give your hair a caffeine boost keep scrolling for our homemade mask that will add crazy amounts of shine and make your hair smell totally amazing...
