Meghan Markle’s Hair History
If you’re looking for some hair inspo to switch up your look this year then we’ve got you totally covered with our series Hair History. Each month we take a look back at some iconic celebrities and trace their hair evolution to where they are today.
As we’re totally obsessed with all things royal we’ve decided to look back at our new favourite family member Meghan Markle. Her glossy blow dry is the stuff dreams are made of and she’s fast become our new hair hero by making the messy bun a totally acceptable hairstyle. She’s also been in the spotlight for the longest time so she knows her stuff when it comes to looking red carpet ready.
A super freshed faced Meghan rocked a classic blowout in her natural dark brown shade for this school picture. So pretty!
Before she was a princess she was prom queen and rocked this tiara like an absolute pro with her super sleek hairstyle.
She definitely wouldn’t be caught dead in a baseball cap now but back in 2004 she embraced this one with her signature sleek hairstyle.
This very regal look is totally fit for the palace and we love that she paired it with layers of pearls and a green smokey eye.
Meghan appeared as a briefcase girl on the US version of the show Deal or No Deal before landing her big role on Suits. She styled her hair in some super voluminous curls and we love the classic Hollywood side part.
This year Meghan cut her hair a little shorter and went for some face framing layers and a few highlights.
For season 2 of Suits Meghan really changed things up and went for some blunt bangs with super long, layered hair.
Meghan went for this stunning updo with a sweeping side part for an event at the New York Film Festival and we love this look on her. Her hair is also way darker here but the colour helps to make it look super glossy.
For the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards Meghan went for these gorgeous side swept waves that were beyond red carpet worthy.
At the Suits season 5 premiere an ICONIC hairstyle was born! The Meghan Markle messy bun was one of the most googled hairstyles ever and for good reason, so chic.
For her first public appearance with Prince Harry, Meghan went for a classic, centre parted blowout in dark brown. We think this look is so polished and really flattering on her.
We spent way too long speculating over this hairstyle and it did not disappoint! Her textured updo was so beautiful and we love that she kept it super simple to show off her tiara. If you have your big day coming up we've created a tutorial of this look here that you can create using your M+B hair extensions.
Meghan and her baby bump are keeping things polished in 2019 with her classic blow dried waves.
We wish that our hair history was as perfect as Meghan Markle’s but if nothing else we’re definitely inspired to master the at home blow dry! If you loved this one then click here for all of our Hair History posts including Kylie Jenner and Beyonce.
